Check what your hosting already includes

TealHost web hosting includes professional email accounts, SSL and automatic backups. Choose storage for the website and mail you expect to keep. An unlimited number of email accounts does not make the plan’s storage unlimited.

Premium and higher annual web hosting plans include an eligible .com domain for the first year. Domain renewal is a separate cost afterwards. A .mu domain is not part of that .com offer.

Price the website work separately

Hosting provides the space and tools for a website. Writing its content, designing its pages, adding products and connecting payment services are separate tasks.

TealHost lists free website design on selected plans. Confirm eligibility and the agreed scope before ordering: page count, content you supply, revisions, delivery and ongoing edits. Ask for a separate quote for work outside the included scope.

For a custom website, give the designer a list of pages, features and integrations. That produces a useful quote; a generic “website price” does not describe what will be delivered.

Ask these questions before comparing totals

• Is the hosting figure a monthly payment or a monthly equivalent paid annually?
• What is the domain renewal price after any first-year offer?
• Who pays for theme, plugin or software renewals?
• Who updates the website and checks backups after launch?
• Does the quote include content, product entry and ongoing changes?

If you are changing providers, include any website and email migration work in the budget.
